My heart’s a stereo and it beats for Gym Class Heroes and Adam Levine.

Gym Class Heroes feat. Adam Levine. Stereo Hearts. Released: June 14, 2011.

The debut return song of Gym Class Heroes proves successful; Travie McCoy belongs with the band. The combination of two of the music industry’s most unique voices, Travie McCoy and Maroon 5’s Adam Levine, creates an addicting song that won’t be disappearing anytime soon: “Stereo Love.” In addition to the vocals, the background band’s keyboard, drum set, and guitar creates a rhythm that everyone can dance along to. Two things separate this song from every other pop song released this summer. First, the voices of Travie McCoy and Adam Levine are different enough that the alternated verses creates variation. Second, the lyrics seemingly have effort put into them as music is uses as a metaphor throughout the song.

Is this the start of a solo Adam Levine career? Or can Levine keep his head small enough and push aside his personal success to keep producing new songs with the band, Maroon 5? Hopefully the world continues to see new songs from the band, but only the future can tell.

Overall, Gym Class Heroes reintroduced themselves this summer with a great hit, and the addition of Adam Levine only helped the song become an absolute hit. Watch it stick around for the summer because its upbeat tones will keep it big until the end of August.
